The typical food shop and farm Cascina Felice was born in 2014 in Riva Valdobbia, result of a long family tradition that goes on from generations.
This shop sells various meat cuts, dairy products all from local cows. The cows are nearly all from a native breed of the valley, the Bruna Alpina, with the breeding of this specific type of cow we are able to support the recovery of this breed, this allow Cascina Felice to be able to restore an important value of the local territory.
All the cows are then fed with 70% local hay produced in our mountain fields, ensuring the correct diet that affects the final flavor of the milk nad cheeses.
Since 2016 there is a shop inside the farmhouse, where you can buy all the following products:

• Toma Valsesiana, a typical cheese of the valley obtained by coagulating raw milk
• Monterosa butter, with the typical yellow color and an intense aroma
• Fresh cheeses
• Yogurt
• Mascarpa Valsesiana
• Beef, chicken and rabbit meat

The production of meats and cheeses is very careful and meticulous. The old cheese cellar has been recently restored, thusallowing to have an ideal environment for the aging process.
The flagship of Cascina Felice is the famous Mascarpa Valsesiana, which is always widely requested by both tourists and locals, so go and get some for yourself before it all sold out.
